Refund policy

Thank you for shopping at PEGA. We appreciate the fact you like to buy the cool stuff we offer!  We want to make sure you are happy and have a rewarding overall experience after purchasing our products.  That being said, we have some details about our Shipping and Return policies below.

Returns

We understand that sometimes a product may not be what you expected to be, and in that unlike event we invite you to review the following terms related to returning a product.
* Once you receive a shipping notification, it is too late to cancel the order and you must request a return.
* We accept returns within 14 days of original arrived date as long as the item is in the original sealed product box, unopened, and undamaged.
* Shipping costs are non-refundable for change of mind returns.
* We may elect to not accept or authorize return of products that are not in their unopened, original packaging, or have been altered or modified with third-party or aftermarket parts or components.
* Once the product has been returned to us and has been ascertained to be complete (including the “original sealed” product box, with the unit in its original packing materials) and undamaged. Your purchase price, less handling, will be refunded to you.  We do not refund any shipping costs.

To initiate a return, you need to contact us via our email address:

info@pegascooter.com. Please include your order number and the reason for your return in your correspondence.

Please note – the 14 days return period is to allow you to examine the goods as you would in a shop. To obtain a full refund, the goods must be returned in an “as new” condition with all components included in their original packaging. “As new” condition is defined as unridden (less than 1km logged on the scooter’s odometer.)

Once your goods are received back at PEGA they will be assessed by a PEGA representative. Any missing parts or damage resulting in a reduction in the retail value of the products will result in an equivalent deduction in your refund amount, please note the loss in value caused by any excessive use or handling of the product will always be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Cancelling a order before dispatch
If an order is cancelled before dispatched then there will be a charge:

Normally, the total amount you pay will be deducted by the bank of credit card and the payment collection company, and this part of the fee will not be refunded. Fees and charges:
US$0.3+ per order (Order Amount*4.3%)

If the order is cancelled after being ordered there is extra $30 cancellation fee for administration.


Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@pegascooter.com.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund if this has been agreed prior that PEGA will arrange return shipping.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Warranty

PEGA offers a Limited Warranty on their products.
Escooters and Ebikes are large and expensive to ship, and once you ride it it is used, and we do not offer any returns on your bike unless it is dead on arrival. We are not a rental store, and highly recommend doing your research before completing your purchase with us. If a bike has a minor cosmetic issue (such as a scratch, or chip on the paint), we will attempt to come to a reasonable discount but this is not grounds for warranty replacement or for a return.
For 30 days after the delivery date we can replace any part that is deemed defective from manufacturing.
The power system (motor, controller, display and battery) and other parts all have a 2 years limited warranty.
We do have exclusions for normal wear components (such as bearings, seals, chain, brake components, suspension valving), as well as misuse or failure caused by damages due to accident, collisions, or neglect. Misuse also includes altering any wiring, or installing any non-genuine parts, as well as any use for racing.  Any misuse in charging, storing, or discharging will void this limited warranty.  Limited warranty are non-transferable and you must have proof of purchase from us, PEGA before asking for warranty replacement.
